Hi, I'm Ashley.
I'm a wife, a mom of seven, and a proud grandma to three amazing little ones. My life is wonderfully busy, beautifully imperfect, and filled with the kinds of moments that remind me just how quickly time passes.
Photography has become one of the ways I hold onto those moments.
One of the biggest reasons I picked up a camera wasn't because I wanted to become a photographer—it was because I experienced what it feels like to wish you had just one more photograph.
When my grandmother passed away, I realized I had very few photos of her. The ones I do have aren't professionally taken or carefully posed. They're simple snapshots of everyday moments, like her getting out of a chair, because she never really liked having her picture taken.
Today, those ordinary photos have become priceless.
That changed the way I see photography forever.
To me, a photograph isn't just an image. It's a piece of someone's story. It's a laugh you'll hear again years from now. It's tiny hands that won't stay tiny. It's the way your partner looked at you before either of you realized the camera was there. It's this chapter of your life, preserved forever.
As a mom of seven—including raising two incredible children on the autism spectrum—I understand that every child is different, every family has its own rhythm, and the best memories usually happen when nobody is trying too hard.
That's why you'll probably catch me telling jokes, making silly noises, or doing whatever I can to get a real laugh instead of asking everyone to smile on command.
I'm not chasing perfect.
I'm chasing genuine.
Since 2018, I've had the privilege of photographing families, couples, seniors, entrepreneurs, and all the beautiful moments in between throughout Northeast Florida.
I also love photographing the world around me—sunrises, wildlife, flowers, the moon, quiet landscapes—because I've always believed beauty exists everywhere if we're willing to slow down long enough to notice it.
